Anymore it seems that every week is a busy week. We had 5 visits from the home health people, the people were here to take care of the yard and all the leaves for about 2+ hours, I had a temporary crown put in, haircut, went to the park with ddil, Marcey, on 2 afternoons to get some walking exercise, met db and dsil for Chinese, picked up prescriptions, went to the library, stopped at Aldi's and HyVee, filled the cars gas tank, soaked some of the thirsty trees and bushes, went to the chiropractor. And, of course, there was the regular stuff of meals, personal hygiene, finances, some cleaning, some reading, checking emails.
Don has only come downstairs once this week. He is doing his pt exercises, I just wish he would do them more often but I do understand that some is better than none. His eyes are bothering him more and more as the bottom lids continue to turn inward. I'm giving him warm compresses 3 times a day followed with eye drops. His appetite has been good this week but he's lost 1 1/2 lbs.
Father in Heaven...we know you are steadfast and hold us in your arms. We know that you alone can give us peace of mind and shield us from pain. Please keep Don in comfort and ease. Amen.
