Some MORE Words of Wisdom

This continues the listing of some of my favorite quotes or sayings.  Most of the time these quotes will be a simple way to briefly explain our own view of something whether it's a view of the past, the present, or the future.

We can always look at the vast wisdom of that great philosopher, Yoda:

Fear is the path to the Dark Side.  Fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate, hate leads to
suffering.

Always in motion is the future.

Truly wonderful the mind of a child is.

Do, or do not, there is no try.

When all choices seem wrong, choose restraint.

To continue, I offer some thoughts that are expressed throughout time by many different civilizations and thinkers.

I contend that for a nation to try to tax itself into prosperity is like a man standing in a bucket and trying to lift himself up by the handle.
    Sir Winston Churchill

A liberal is someone who feels a great debt to his fellow man, which debt he proposes to pay off with your money.
    G. Gordon Liddy

There will, of course, be more quotes in the future since man has always found a way to voice an opinion or thought, which is why totalitarian governments will always fail.
Man can be silenced just for a limited time.  We were given the right to choose by God and that is our inalienable right as stated in the Declaration of Independence. Amen!
